About Me
Hi, I'm Jane. In addition to coaching, I work part-time for a local charity. I also love to sing and I run a social group for musicians.
Before this, I completed an MA in Classics, then got a job as a software developer for a bank. Whilst working there remotely, I took the opportunity to move out of London to a smaller city that I preferred. The job was fun for a while, with excellent security and benefits, but it was not fulfilling long-term. I began my ICF Coaching Diploma and started to think about leaving.
I quit without another job lined up, but that worked well for me at the time. I soon found my current job, which I really enjoy. Moving to part-time meant I could focus on my coach training, as well as other things like music and seeing friends.
Sometimes I've made decisions that have looked unexpected, but have nonethless been the result of careful thinking - considering the full picture when weighing costs vs benefits, and using logic alongside intuition.
As someone with ADHD, I enjoy working with clients who also think tangentially and are inclined to look at different angles. It's helpful to think out loud with someone who can relate and follow the threads, especially if they're difficult to articulate.
